I love these. Hilarious. The kids and I were in tears laughing so hard! Caleb's pic is the best!

A MILLION BIRDS, ONE STONE
Time has slipped away from me yet again! No wonder time flies fast nowadays, we're insanely busy!
A lot has happened since I last posted, so let me try to sum it all up in one entry, with pics of course. :)
Trick-or-treating went great! Caleb was with his dad, but we took Joley trick-or-treating around my dad's neighborhood because its the best for trick-or-treating! A few of my friends came with us, so we had a nice little gang of trick-or-treaters!
Getting treats from Papi
Our trick-or-treaters!
Joley and her BFF Skye
Next up... soccer party! Caleb's 6th season of soccer came to an end in November. We had an End of the Season party for the team. They all got trophies and awards from the coach, and I made cupcakes for the occasion. It was a nice time. :)
Caleb and his buddy Nick. They've been together since they were 2 months old at daycare, aww!
Proud boys!
Next up... Thanksgiving! The first graders at Caleb's school had a little Thanksgiving program, it was too cute. None of my pics from the actual program turned out, I was seated too far away and the lighting sucked. But I got one of Caleb in his turkey "costume" after the show! :) They sang songs, it was too cute. Joley was in awe, she's so ready to go to school, lol. I love all the little programs they put on like that... makes me tear up, realizing how fast time is flying and before I know it- Caleb will be graduating! Ok, I'm getting ahead of myself there, lol.
Caleb was with his dad for Thanksgiving this year, and all my family was out of town, so I decided to cook my own Thanksgiving meal, all by myself! It was my first time cooking for Thanksgiving, and I loved it. I cooked for 4 hours straight, and then it was all overwith after 15 mins of eating. How anticlimactic, lol. Joley fell asleep while I was cooking, so she didn't eat when we did, but it was super nice having a quiet little meal, just the two of us. Borderline romantic. :P
Turkey!
My trusty recipe sidekick: All Recipes!
White chocolate raspberry cheesecake I made from scratch!
Food!
Passed out baby.
The Leapster has officially been passed down to Joley. She's too grown up. :) But now all the sudden Caleb has a huge interest in the Leapster and will trade Joley his DS for the Leapster, lol. Silly kids! :)
I did a little bit of shopping on Black Friday. I usually LOVE going out in all the madness, but this year there wasn't much left to buy for Christmas and I didn't feel up to waking up super early and rushing out. Maybe next year? But after sleeping in (thanks Jeremiah!) and having coffee, I went out and did a little shopping. Some sales were just ridiculously hard to pass up. New XBox games on sale for $35, usually priced at $60?? Heck yes!
Next up... Christmas spirit! The Saturday after Thanksgiving, the kids and I decorated for Christmas, woohoo! I had been so ready for decorations, I could hardly stand it. My dad gave us their old tree, its massive! I love it!
Aww looky here! Little Amanda, lol. ^_^
Caleb and Pawpaw (my dad)
Aaaaand that brings us to December! One step closer to being caught up, woohoo! :)
My goofy boy! :)
Bokeh ♥
Our outside decorations. If I had a ladder, I would have put lights around the roof.
Proud little helper
Ready.... set....
... jump!...
... and slide! He raked this pile of leaves himself, hehe!
Presentssss! The anticipation is KILLING ME!!!! I want Jeremiah to open his gifts SO BAD!!!!
My Santa boy!
Next up... Fernando's birthday! They had a party at my mom's house for Papi's birthday. It was a great time. Joley had so much fun playing with her cousins!
Mama's tree
So silly! :)
He was crying, so Joley rocked him and sang "Rockabye Baby" to him, awww! Melted my heart! ♥
I made cupcakes for the party... mini raspberry cheesecakes with white chocolate ganache frosting swirled with raspberry, and yellow butter cake with mint fudge frosting garnished with Andes mints. Yum yum! :)
Next up... Caleb's room! We redid our living room and Joley's room a few months ago. Caleb's room was our next project. I wanted to get the kids' rooms cleaned up before Christmas, so they'll have plenty of room for new toys! Caleb's room took us a while... Caleb and I both worked on it for about 2-3 hours! But man, it looks AMAZING now! Its transformed from a "little boy's" room to a "young man's" room. *sigh* They grow up too fast, I tell ya!
Looking in.
We moved my old desk into Caleb's room. Its perfect for him to do homework and art work on.
Bunkbed. Bedding was being washed.
Closet.
Excited boy! My mom gave us an office chair later on. :)
Next up... family party! This weekend we had my dad's family's Christmas party. Its always a great time. We play Dirty Santa and it gets hilarious. :)
My child would sit next to the dessert table and munch on sweets all afternoon! :)
My brother Adam
The kids get to open a little gift, since the adults play Dirty Santa.
Thanks Pawpaw!
Opening the gift Jeremiah picked out for him... a Nerf axe.
Excited!!
Time for Dirty Santa.
My number... not bad!
I brought cupcakes. Vanilla pudding cupcakes with white chocolate ganache frosting, with white chocolate peppermint pieces, garnished with a candy cane! :)
Aaaaand we're done! Whew! To be honest, that was a lot quicker than I thought (although I'm sure you all are probably like "IS THIS ENRTY DONE YET?!?!" hehe). December is always a busy month for us, with the holidays and family parties and whatnot. We have another family party this coming weekend, and the next weekend is CHRISTMAS!!!! I am so so so excited. We've gotten the kids a ton of stuff, they are both going to be so ecstatic! Hopefully it wont take me two months to write about it all here. :)
